• No! In South Carolina, you can see a physical therapist without a physician’s referral thanks to direct access laws. This means you can schedule an evaluation at Pelvic Flores PT and begin care without first seeing your doctor.

• While no physician referral is required to begin PT in South Carolina, PT services cannot continue beyond 30 days from the initial eval/treatment date without a PT referral from a physician.
